Nigerian Movie Star Profile

You can call Francis Duru many things, but you can’t say he’s lazy. Lauded by awards and critics alike, Duru is determined to remain one of Nollywood’s strongest personnel and when he’s asked why he merged acting with stand up, event comparing, producing and directing, singing and songwriting, he says:

“I have always kicked against the notion of ‘jack of all trade and master of none’ because as a born again Christian, the bible tells me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and that means that in each and every one of humanity, there’s so much to give out and it also depends on how those given potentials are harnessed”.

Looking at all of the things he has combined, Duru argues that they are all related within the parlance of entertainment and that they naturally play themselves out. “When it comes to anchoring an event, it can be easy for me to combine all of what I have with stand-up, for instance, because of my background in theatre.

Then, as an actor, I am a full movie practitioner because I have also produced and directed a movie even though my main forte in everything is acting”. Largely, Duru thinks his kind of work doesn’t really “stick me” to a particular pattern because it all depends on how much there is to express”.

Hi. I live in the united states and this is the first time I seen an african motion picture, coming fron Nigeria. I ordered the movie "Total War 1 & 2".The plot of the movie quickly kept my interest. After the movie had ended, I had to order the ending part of this movie," Final War". What stand out in the movie was the surperb excellent acting the cast portrayed. And you, Francis Duru, is one excellent realism actor. I am ordering some more african movies to watch. Keep up the good work and god bless you.

Finally I have seen what you look like, you stole from me for a yorkie puppy and you did not send my puppy. I sent you money by moneygram and you picked up the money in Nigeria when you mentioned that you were in the US. I took the time look for you and I remember you telling me that I could never find you no matter how far I looked and you did not remember that Moneygram had records. I would have my country's police dept and the FBI to communicate with your own police dept and you would pay for your crime
