REP --- You seem to be a very busy person.

Ruth --- Yeah I am. I try to stay busy.

REP --- I see. Are you still married to your husband?

Ruth --- (laughed) according to what the papers say.

REP --- Are those entire tabloids news about you true? I know that sometime they could be true and other they could be false. What is your take on that?

Ruth --- I actually cannot say a lot about that. I do not know how they do things in Nigeria; I do not really know their lifestyle.

REP --- You have not been to Nigeria?.

Ruth --- No, I have been there. I am just saying that when it comes to their media and stuff I do not know how they do things over there. Therefore, I cannot really say much.

REP --- I see

Ruth --- I just know that it is just unfair for people to point accusing fingers at the innocent one. I think are unfair.

REP --- It is unfair

Ruth --- This is one reason why when they call me to ask if I want to say anything, it took me a while. I just had to say that they were just accusing the wrong person because I just do not think that is right,

REP --- I understand. So where did you read all these news about you, Emeka and Jim Ike was it at our site or other websites? I mean how did you get to know what is going on.

Ruth --- First, I really do not have the time to go online to read stuffs like that.

REP --- I understand. I know you are a busy person.

Ruth --- Yeah... Kind of. I have friends who read them and then call me to say oh Ruth they are saying this or that about you, you know, and stuffs like that.

REP --- How long ago did this happen?

Ruth --- It has been about three months, I think, three months ago. Round about September I think.

REP --- Did this have any impact on you? I mean your work, your spiritual life, your marriage. I do not know if you are still married. However, did this have any impact on you at all?

Ruth --- As I said, first I really do not believe in negative things you know. The only constant thing in life that we all know is change right?

REP --- Exactly, I like that.

Ruth --- Yeah, so I do not let any negativity weigh me down.

REP --- I like that

Ruth --- you know I still wake up in the morning, do what I have to do. Emotionally, of course I am human you know. I really think things over and stuff like that. However, they do not really weigh me down at all.

REP --- That is good to know. That is a very positive spirit and I think I like that.

How about your relationship with Emeka? Because I heard, you have been family friends for a long time.

Ruth --- Yeah, actually Emeka and the family, his wife Emma, we have been friends for years now, at least 11 years.

REP --- Wow!

Ruth --- You know we are cool.

REP --- So is there any strain in your relationship now with your family and his? Or you are just taking things cool?

Ruth --- No, not at all. We are still cool. We are still friends just the way we have always been. Just that I have not seen him anywhere for a while but if I see him, we all will not feel any different toward each other. Nothing is changed.

REP --- I see. And Jim Ike? Did you know him before?

Ruth --- Unfortunately, I do not want to talk about him at all. I just cannot comment on that.

REP --- I understand. It is quite unfortunate all these are going on, but I know with time some truths are going to come out and you are going to have a rest of mind. I am sure you are really looking forward to that day.

Ruth --- Yeah, right now I am upset with some things you know. Maybe some lies that are being told and things that have been said, that are not supposed to be said. The only thing that I am most concerned about is that you know, Emeka and the family they are my friends and we will always be friends. As for what is his name? Jim Ike, he knows the truth and what I understand is that real men always stand by their words.

REP --- Definitely.

Ruth --- Yeah and he know exactly what the truth is but just goes back and forth to cover up for whatever reason is known to him. But definitely, someday the truth is going to prevail.

REP --- Has Jim Ike or emeka granted any interview yet regarding these allegations?

Ruth --- I have no idea

REP --- How about your husband

Ruth --- (smile) hmmmmm

REP --- You do not want to talk about your husband.

Ruth --- What about him?

REP --- Has he had any interview yet regarding this?

Ruth --- same thing, I have no idea.

REP --- How long have you been married?

Ruth --- For years

REP --- Do you have children together?

Ruth --- no

REP --- I hope you people stay married and I hope you pull through all these. That is all I can say for now. Is there any other thing you want people to know?

Ruth --- As I said, I do not really have anything to say. I think it does not really matter what I say or what I do not say. What matters is what I do know, which is that the truth is always going to come out somehow.
