Gifted actor and winner of the crossover
actor category at the Afro Holywood
Awards, which comes up today, Fred
Aseroma, has come out to declare that
the award was a vindication of his
talents as a good actor. The University
of Lagos graduate of Industrial
Chemistry stated so during an interview
with our correspondent, adding that the
award was the beginning of more acting
laurels to come his way.
Aseroma who reminded us that the award
was not the first to come his way, told
Klieglights in a much earlier
interview that "I am a damn good actor
and not a star," who at present, plays
lead role in television series, ‘Kamson
and Neighbours’.
"The award is a further proof of what
I’ve always believed about my acting
ability. I have always said it that I’m
very good at what I do, even if I don’t
carry much air about me. I have never
failed to deliver well since I became an
actor, even in the television
commercials I appear, taking the Glo job
as example," he stressed.
"Mind you this is not my first award
outside the shores of Nigeria; but I’m
the appreciative type and so I
appreciate it; but it need be noted that
it is not the first to come my way," he
explained and concluded that "God
willing, we ain’t seen the last of the
awards yet."
